About the campus

SKEMA's Stellenbosch campus is situated in Stellenbosch, about 50 kilometres from Cape Town, on the banks of the Eerste River in the famous wine-growing region, encircled by picturesque mountains.

SKEMA shares the building and facilities of Stellenbosch University – a huge documentation centre, a music school, concert halls, an athletics stadium, several Olympic swimming pools and sports fields (rugby, football, tennis, hockey, cricket, squash…).

Stellenbosch University's library, part of the SU Library and Information Service, is situated at the Stellenbosch campus. This central library is one of the biggest libraries in the world.

The Stellenbosch campus also houses Neelsie, a commercial hub. It offers students a wide variety of commercial, financial and entertainment services.

The official languages spoken in the region are Afrikaans, English and IsiXhosa.
