  • Life in China is very convenient. Nowadays, thanks to mobile payment and translation apps, it is easy to live there comfortably. For example, using Alipay to travel and to book hotels and flights is both simple and highly practical.

  • Cultural activities are organised for our students every week. The campus team also organises various free sports competitions open to all students.

  • Yes, of course, but there are two possible situations:

If you stay on the Suzhou campus for two consecutive semesters and hold a long-stay visa, the school may assist you in obtaining a visa that allows you to complete an internship. The prerequisite is that you receive an internship offer from a company. During the semester, the Talent & Careers (T&C) team will share numerous internship opportunities and organise activities such as company visits and presentations. We recommend regularly checking the T&C platform and your email communications.

If you stay in Suzhou for only one semester and hold a short-stay visa, the school will not be able to apply for an appropriate internship visa on your behalf. In this case, you will need to find a company willing to support you with the visa application process.

However, as these regulations depend on local policies, the situation may vary across China. For example, in Shanghai, it is currently possible to convert a short-stay visa into an internship visa. We therefore encourage you to contact the Talent & Careers (T&C) team for further guidance.
