Entrepreneurship contest on Sophia Antipolis campus

Published on 13 October 2018

Saturday 13 October, the launch of the 17th edition of the entrepreneurship contest, "Jeunes Pousses Challenge", will take place at SKEMA in Sophia-Antipolis.

This entrepreneurship contest gathers students on the Côte d’Azur in multidisciplinary teams whose objective is to develop innovative projects that are technical, social or tourism based. The contest is organised by Telecom Valley.

The student participants range from holders of a bachelor's degree, a master's or a doctorate. They have six months from October to March, to develop their innovation project with their multidisciplinary team. The teams are coached by professionals who give advice on the technical, economic legal financial and organisational aspects of company creation.

This contest is a tried and tested method that meets students’ expectations when they want to expand their skills in company creation. This style of teaching is fun but it is also thorough and as realistic as possible.

Students could sign up whether they had an innovative project in mind or not (sign up is now closed), they could enter as a team or on an individual basis and could also join one of the other teams during the first day of the contest devoted to constituting the participating teams.
