Saudia: Future Pioneers Programme

Published on 06 October 2017

Tomorrow AirTalent commissioned SKEMA Business School, as Executive Education partner, to work with Saudia and train a group of high-potential employees on its internal programme.

On 9 May this year, SKEMA Executive attended an award ceremony in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where the 22 members of the Future Pioneers Programme 2016-2017 cohort received their certificates. The event was attended by several of the Saudia airline’s senior executives, the director of Tomorrow AirTalent, and representatives of the Consulate General of France in Jeddah, including His Excellency the Consul General.
The AirPioneer programme is a unique qualification designed and led by Tomorrow AirTalent. The programme is divided into three levels and delivered in Toulouse, Paris and Jeddah. It gives participants an opportunity to:

  • get the latest insights into the airline industry and the sector’s economic context
  • apply project management principles to a real-life project with potential implications for Saudia
  • gain important soft skills that will serve them well in their future leadership roles within the group.
As part of the programme, our professors delivered training on project management (Paul Gardiner and Adil Eltigani) and design thinking (Peter Spier).

SKEMA Executive Education is proud to have played a part in training Saudia’s new starters, and is delighted to have worked successfully alongside Tomorrow AirTalent, without which this project would not have been possible. Building on this initial success, SKEMA Executive Education will be working with the next generation of Air Pioneers in 2017 and 2018.
We are united by the same ambition: “To help Air Pioneers grow and, together, reach new heights”.
