SKEMA gets AMBA accreditation and triple crown

Published on 09 January 2017

This AMBA distinction allows SKEMA to join a very exclusive circle – the less than one per cent of world business schools with the triple accreditation: EQUIS-AACSB-AMBA.

AMBA

AMBA (Association of MBAs) evaluates the excellence of MBA programmes. It is SKEMA's Executive MBA programme that now has the AMBA accreditation.

The AMBA auditors who visited SKEMA in September were impressed by the commitment of the programme management, administrative teams and faculty to students' success. Participating students, mostly senior executives of large international companies with high levels of expectation, expressed their complete satisfaction with the programme.

In only three years, SKEMA has acquired the five-year EQUIS re-accreditation, while also obtaining the two other international accreditations of reference: AACSB and AMBA.

Our Executive MBA programme offers a specialisation in project and programme management. It takes place in five different locations: on the SKEMA campuses in Lille, France and in Belo Horizonte, Brazil; as well as Oslo, Norway; Dallas, Texas; and Shanghai, China. The MBA comprises six modules specifically designed to internationalise participants' profiles and raise awareness of the globalised economy.

Alice Guilhon, director of SKEMA: "To win the triple crown in just three years is the result of the mobilisation of all members of the school and its community (employees, students, graduates). This international recognition further enhances the visibility, solidity and excellence of SKEMA on the world stage."
