SKEMA's international student societies on European trips

Published on 18 April 2017

From Sophia Antipolis or Lille, these SKEMA societies are constantly trying to improve thei welcome foreign students get on our campuses.

Recently, each society organised a cultural weekend in a European city. London for S’Konnection from Lille. And Rome for Interculture from Sophia-Antipolis.

The 29 SKEMA students left Lille and stayed in Notting Hill on Friday night. On Saturday, lucky with the weather, they spent the sunny day visiting Camden, Soho and Piccadilly. After a relaxing time back at the youth hostel, they went out to discover London nightlife!

The next day small groups visited the Tate, the British Museum and the Natural History Museum followed by a stroll around the area of Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. After, they ended their trip with an evening meal together in a Mexican restaurant near Victoria station. A great weekend that was great value for money too.

Destination Rome with Interculture for 44 students from Sophia. The group stayed at the Four Seasons hotel and visited the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. On Saturday they were free so the programme had something for everyone. On the way back they group stopped in Pisa for lunch. This programme too had an unbeatable price-quality ratio and reached its objective of getting to know the foreign students even better.
