SKEMA wins indoor hockey championship

Published on 01 April 2017

In Orleans at the beginning of March, the SKEMA (Lille campus) indoor hockey team won the men’s indoor hockey French university championship.

After winning four out of five matches in the pool, the SKEMA team finished top of their pool and qualified for the semi-finals.

They qualified for the finals after their victory by one single point (final score 7-6) against the team selected by the Comité Régional du Sport Universitaire de Paris. In the final, they played against the team selected by the Regional Committee of Lyon: they also won this match by one point (final score 5-4). The SKEMA Lille team are therefore French university champions 2017.

We would like to congratulate all the players: Ludovic Fourcroy, Igor Lockwood (nominated best player in the competition), Karl d'Halluin, Elliot Desmettre, Martin Nys, Martin Tabary, Victor Bia, Pierre Henneton; and their coach David Riquart.
