SKEMA's incubator: ranked 5th in France

Published on 16 May 2017

La Ruche, the biggest blog in France on entrepreneurship and youth employment, has just issued its Top 7 incubators that create the most jobs through accompanying and launching start-ups.

The SKEMA incubator is ranked 5th.

Entrepreneurial culture occupies an increasingly important place in the life of students and young graduates. Many of them choose to transform their company project, sometimes thought up in the classroom of a Grande Ecole, into a real start-up. More and more students and young graduates are ready to launch entrepreneurial ideas. That’s why business schools and even engineering schools have created their own incubators to accompany these students in their projects.

SKEMA’s incubator directed by Philippe Chéreau, has accompanied 150 projects since 2001; 77 companies have been created since 2011, a rate of 80% over five years, and these have created 550 jobs.

The same site has already showcased Tonic Incubation (the incubator of SKEMA at Lille, Ecole des Arts et Métiers ParisTech Centre de Lille and Ecole Centrale Lille) with Holusion, a very promising incubated project.
