Sporting champions: students win national competitions

This year, once again, SKEMA is proud of its champions’ performance. Here are the results for the Sophia-Antipolis campus.

French university champion! Our boxer Clément Lubrano Lavadera was on the top of the podium at the end of the competition. “This university champion title crowns my 11 years of amateur boxing after over 50 fights. But above all, it is a great end for this season which began well. My future is now in professional boxing and I hope it goes as well as this year. It was an emotional experience and I thank SKEMA for their support. I am proud to take our school colours as far as this championship title!”

In tennis, after the final four of the French ESC Cup on 7 and 8 April in Toulouse, the SKEMA team won easily against EDHEC Lille after eliminating Kedge Bordeaux the day before. Congratulations to all our players: Marine Duron, Jacqueline Boepple, Jasmine Masini, Grégory Cover, Romain Boudaroua, Aurélien Witz, Thibaut Meunier led by their captain Loic Salaun.

Our school will now be organising next year's competition for all the business schools in France.
