Student entrepreneurship ranking: 8th place for SKEMA

Published on 26 January 2017

The “Petit Poucet” incubator is one of the pioneers of student entrepreneurship that has been helping and hosting young entrepreneurs since 2002.

The incubator has just published the Student Entrepreneurship Ranking where our school is placed in eighth position among the French business schools and universities that encourage student entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship is one of SKEMA’s main missions. SKEMA considers that an entrepreneur is an innovator and a transformer, innovating and acting to transform industries and organisations. Growth and wealth creation in our societies and local regions depend largely on the capacity to create new activities whether by creating new companies or initiating new businesses within existing ones.

To enable all students from any SKEMA programme or campus to enhance their entrepreneurship skills, the school created the Global Entrepreneurship Initiative, directed by Michel Bernasconi, that co-ordinates all entrepreneurial initiatives in SKEMA.
