Students' 8000-km bike ride to the China campus

Share

They are both mad about cycling and sporting challenges in general - Edouard and Pierre-Antoine rode from SKEMA’s Lille campus in France all the way to our Suzhou campus in China – by bike.

They left at the end of January 2016 and reached their destination on 30 June after an 8000-kilometre trip that took five months.

Edouard and Pierre-Antoine have been cycling together for five years.

As SKEMA students, they decided to do their final year of study on SKEMA’s Suzhou campus. Combining their ambition with pleasure, they opted to travel there using leg power.

They travelled through 15 countries doing an average of 80 kilometres a day. They outdid their expectations, arriving earlier than expected.

We congratulate our two students and wish them a great summer and an excellent year in Suzhou.
