Raleigh campus - SKEMA Business School

About the campus

Located at the heart of the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University, the SKEMA Raleigh campus has more than 30,000 square feet (2,500 m2). This location is also home to NC State Colleges, such as engineering and textiles, the state-of-the-art James B. Hunt Jr. Library, and numerous innovative businesses and research laboratories.

Thanks to SKEMA’s partnership with the prestigious NC State University, interaction with American and international students is part of our students’ day-to-day lives. SKEMA students have access to all NC State facilities, events, and services, including athletic events, libraries, gymnasiums and wellness amenities, a health center, dining halls, 600+ student clubs, and more.

SKEMA’s Raleigh campus is situated in the heart of the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University.
The school was drawn to this region due to the world-renowned reputation of the Research Triangle Park (RTP) and the quality of its higher education system. The RTP hosts more than 11,000 employees at over 160 international companies.
A lot of international companies have an office within the “triangle” of Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill. This location offers its students ample opportunities for involvement in vibrant business environments.

Student life

The SKEMA Raleigh campus is located across three adjacent buildings with a courtyard in the middle.  There are about 500 SKEMA students on campus each semester, with 25+ nationalities represented among the student population, faculty, and staff.

SKEMA Raleigh partners with North Carolina State University (NC State), an innovative and highly regarded public university in North Carolina with more than 34,000 students. This partnership grants all SKEMA students studying on the Raleigh Campus access to NC State's student resources, including:

SKEMA USA hosts Wellness Day for all students

SKEMA Raleigh students have access to both SKEMA and NC State student clubs, totalling more than 500+ clubs and organizations!  No matter what you are interested in, you'll find a student club that's perfect for you.

The SKEMA Raleigh campus has a dedicated staff of higher education professionals to help support and guide students during their studies.  The Student O​ffice has an open-door policy and interacts with students daily. They provide resources and assistance with class registration, student events, student clubs, academic and wellness needs, student visa questions, and other topics.  

At SKEMA Raleigh, students have all the opportunities and resources they need to succeed academically, develop themselves, and have an amazing university experience.

Accommodation

Each semester, SKEMA Business School sends a housing guide to students who have been admitted to the Raleigh campus. This guide includes a list of student residences in or near NCSU Centennial Campus (where SKEMA is located), the registration process and key contacts.

Institutions offer leases of between four and 12 months. Student residences frequently accommodate SKEMA students and NCSU students together in apartments. However, if you prefer, you may look for another apartment on your own.

The nearest airport is Raleigh-Durham International Airport. It is 15 miles (24km) from the SKEMA Raleigh campus. This international airport serves 40 destinations.

You can take a bus or taxi from the airport to the Raleigh campus. The Triangle Transit Authority (TTA) buses connect the airport to downtown Raleigh. By taxi, it is a 23km journey.

You can use the “Wolfline” bus network to travel around the NCSU campus and its surroundings. On weekends, the “Wolfprowl” service serves downtown Raleigh.

The GoTriangle network covers the greater region of the “Triangle” (Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill). These services are free for SKEMA students on the Raleigh campus. From the large cities of the east coast, Raleigh can be reached via the Amtrak train network.
