Analytics Information & OperationsDavide La Torre, PhD, HDR, is a Full Professor in Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence at SKEMA Business School, Université Côte d'Azur, Sophia Antipolis Campus, France. He is also affiliated with the Radiomics Board of the European Institute of Oncology (Milan, Italy), with the Department of Oncology of the University of Milan (Milan, Italy), with the Doctoral School in Decision Sciences at Insubria University (Varese, Italy), and with the Department of Applied Mathematics of the University of Waterloo (Waterloo, Canada). He got his HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) in Applied Mathematics from the Université Côte d'Azur, Nice, France (2021) and a Doctorate in Computational Mathematics and Operations Research from the University of Milan, Milan, Italy (2002) as well as professional certificates in Analytics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.He holds the French national qualification as Professeur des Universités in Applied Mathematics (CNRS 26), Computer Science (CNRS 27), and Economics (CNRS 5) as well as the Italian national qualification as Professore Ordinario/Associato in Mathematical Methods for Economics (13 D4), Economics (13 A1), Political Economy (13 A2), and Public Economics (13 A3). Mathematical Analysis, Statistics, and Probability (MAT 05), and Operations Research (MAT 09). His research and teaching interests include Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Image Analysis, Mathematical Economics, Mathematical Finance, Mathematical Medicine, Optimization and Control. In the past he held permanent and visiting university professor positions in Europe, Canada, Middle East, Central Asia, and Australia. He also served as Associate Dean, Departmental Chair and Program Head at several universities. He has more than 200 publications in Scopus, most of them published in high IF journals ranging from Artificial Intelligence to Mathematics, from Economics to Finance, from Engineering to Management.
