Miguel Suarez is an Industrial Engineer with more than 25 years experience in the areas of supply chain management and purchasing from different professional perspectives. From 1992 to 2014 he worked as top executive of European manufacturing companies as well as in international management consultancies. In 2015 he started an academic career as researcher and visiting professor of accredited universities and business schools in Austria, France, Denmark and Spain. He is an active member of the CSCMP and a regular participant of academic conferences in supply chain management in Europe, Asia and USA. Miguel´s research and consulting focus lies on supply chain finance, supply chain strategy and design as well as on companies’ turnaround approaches. In 2021 Miguel joined SKEMA Business School as Associate Professor and Director of the MSc. Programme of Business Consulting and Digital Transformation.
