SKEMA Nanjing: International Joint Audit Institute relocates to the Mochou campus

In a ceremony held on the morning of 16 November, flags fluttered outside the library of the Mochou campus, welcoming the new arrival of the students and faculty from the International Joint Audit Institute, established by SKEMA and Nanjing Audit University in 2020. This relocation from the Pukou campus to the Mochou campus signifies a step further in the educational cooperation between the two institutions.

The shift to the Mochou campus at 77 Beixu Road, Gu Lou District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, holds significance for both SKEMA and Nanjing Audit University. It underlines their vision to establish an international education hub and cultivate more global business talents.

Improved facilities

The newly inaugurated Mochou campus has received acclaim for its state-of-the-art facilities, including teaching spaces, libraries, and laboratories. The ambience resonates with a blend of modernity and historical charm, offering students an environment conducive to learning and living.

“The relocation to the renovated downtown Mochou campus enhances the institute's independent identity and facilitates ties with the business community. Better facilities, especially newer accommodations, enhance students' satisfaction, particularly for in-bound SKEMA exchange students," said Prof. Wenyu Dou, academic dean of SKEMA China and vice-dean of the International Joint Audit Institute.

Luc Gerbet, a French exchange student at the International Joint Audit Institute, expressed, "Upon arriving here, the immediate impression was the refreshing ambience across campus facilities, dormitories, and cafeterias."

International cooperation

The International Joint Audit Institute was approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education as 2020's first batch of Chinese-Foreign cooperatively run higher education institutions, offering a four-year full-time undergraduate programme.

It recruits 300 Chinese students annually through the GAOKAO exam for its four specialisations. Since November 2023, the programmes have been delivered on the Mochou campus of Nanjing Audit University.
