SKEMA wins silver award at the Grand Prix Stratégies 2023 for its podcast "Makes Sense?"

SKEMA Business School has clinched the Silver Award at the Grand Prix Stratégies de la communication 2023, in the podcast category, for our "Makes Sense?" podcast. It highlights the expertise of our faculty on social issues while incorporating a touch of pop culture. This award coincides with the release of the latest episode featuring geopolitics professor Frédéric Munier.

A com​​bined effort

 

"The receipt of this award underlines the collective effort of the Marketing and Communications and the Research and Knowledge Transfer departments at SKEMA. This joint effort enabled this innovative format to come into existence, supported by the expertise and skills of SKEMA's professors," said Fabien Seraidarian, director of the Research and Knowledge Transfer department. "SKEMA winning the Stratégies award for the "Makes Sense?" podcast is a wonderful recognition for this new format, which is a result of our professors' expertise. Relying on pop culture references to decode complex notions and social questions, our teams demonstrate creativity in delivering a captivating auditory experience," he added.

The award coincides with the release of the fourth episode of the "Makes Sense?" podcast, titled "How can we still wage war today?". It features Frédéric Munier, professor of geopolitics and director of SKEMA's School of Geopolitics for Business. In this must-listen episode, Kevin Erkeletyan and his guest of the day explore the internal struggles and the logic of the world envisioned by the prolific writer Georges R. R. Martin to better understand our world.
