In January, SKEMA's Raleigh campus welcomed Christopher Weissberg, "député" (member) of the French parliament and representative of the French residents of North America (US and Canada).
Other guests included North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine Marshall, members of the French American Chamber of Commerce Carolinas (FACCC), including President Cédric Décarpentrie, the Alliance Française of Raleigh, and other local French organisations.
During this event, Mr. Weissberg extended warm wishes for the new year to the French and francophile community of North America. The event was broadcast live online. He also spent time with the attendees answering the questions they had on topics ranging from administrative matters to education, retirement, taxation, and more.
The SKEMA Raleigh campus was selected to host this event for its proximity to the dynamic Research Triangle region, and, most importantly, for the large and growing French community present in the area.
