The three young students – Zhenhua Gu (MSc Sustainable Finance & Fintech, 2021), Jing Yang (MSc International Marketing & Business Development, 2021), and Minshan Yu (MSc Global Supply Chain Management & Procurement) – are making impactful contributions to sustainable development within the Women@Dior progamme.

More than half of the year has passed since three students from SKEMA's Suzhou campus in China took part in the 2022 Women@Dior Mentoring & Education programme.

In 2018, SKEMA started a partnership with Woman@Dior to deepen ties between them. Last year, five SKEMA students were selected for the programme. "Dior is one of the most symbolic luxury brands in the world. SKEMA will work with Dior again this year to create a better future for young women. We will continue to prioritise the education of the next generation of female leaders and continue to work towards gender equality," said Matthieu Dumont, director of SKEMA's Suzhou campus.

As representatives of young women, each of them are matched with a mentor from Dior and participate in training on themes of gender equality and women's leadership for one year.

Opportunity to meet and work

"The Woman@Dior programme has given us the opportunity to meet and work with outstanding women from many other countries. The programme also provided some courses on self-awareness, which gave me a better understanding of myself and a clearer plan for my future. I am very grateful for the opportunities provided by SKEMA," said Jing Yang, one of the three participants in the programme.

Women@Dior is an international education programme created on International Women's Day in 2017 to provide career development guidance to young women across the world. SKEMA Business School has also been focusing on global issues such as the educational advancement of young women, gender equality and women's leadership!
