KM Conference: towards effortless knowledge management
A new edition of the Knowledge Management (KM) Conference, organised jointly by the CoP-1 association and SKEMA Business School, will be held on Thursday, 24 November, on the Grand Paris campus, in hybrid format.
This year, the theme of the discussions will be "Lean KM: towards effortless knowledge management?" Three round-table discussions will be organised in the morning followed by a networking session. Students interested in knowledge management are invited to participate.
How can budgetary constraints be reconciled with the growing need for knowledge sharing and capitalisation within an organisation? How to approach knowledge management in a sober but effective way? The Knowledge Management conference will answer these questions through three round tables, in the presence of knowledge management specialists from large French companies.
Three pillars of KM
"This conference is an opportunity to meet around a knowledge management theme to exchange views and debate. A format is now in place, with three round-table discussions, each with three presentations from recognised external stakeholders. This will be followed by 15 minutes of questions and answers. The three pillars of KM — people, process and tools — and content will be addressed," explains Laurence Descos, director of Knowledge Management at SKEMA and co-organiser of the conference. The sessions will be broadcast online via Teams. "For those who can't attend, a recording will be available at the end of the conference," says Laurence.
