BCE exam: SKEMA is the preferred school for preparatory class students

Having crossed 8,000 candidates, SKEMA Business School’s strong appeal to preparatory class students is evident for the third consecutive year. Banque Commune d'Epreuves (BCE), a leading competitive entrance exam to the Grandes Écoles business schools, has just released its 2022 registration figures.

Despite a very slight drop in the number of registrations for the BCE competition (9,616), SKEMA has seen an increase of 2.9% in the number of preparatory students applying for admission to SKEMA. This represents a total of 8,140 candidates, i.e. 85% of registered students, and 231 more candidates than in 2021.

Regarding the social aspect, the school has not been left behind since it has the highest number of scholarship applicants (2,408). "This result confirms the renewed commitment of students to SKEMA's unique offering. It reflects the school's constant evolution in the rankings, particularly the SIGEM ranking, which is well-known to preparatory classes and has seen SKEMA move up two places in 2021 to reach 6th among French schools," explains Patrice Houdayer, Director of Programmes, International and Student Life.

Academic excellence and international mobility at the end of the road

This renewed confidence indicates that students are perceptive to academic excellence, prestigious partnerships, international mobility, the quality of the programmes offered, and the hybrid nature of the latter attract students, according to Denis Boissin, Director of the Master in Management (PGE) programme. "Guaranteed international mobility, available from the first year and with no additional tuition fees, combined with an academic continuum that capitalises on the achievements of the preparatory classes and the development of hybrid programmes leading to double and triple degrees with excellent academic institutions, provides students with an added value to their course that is unrivalled today," he says.
