Big Four accounting firms: how to apply
Audit and consulting firms are justifiably recognised for their consistent growth. Each year, the Big Four firms recruit SKEMA students, both as interns and on permanent contracts.
Are you looking to start your career or carry out an internship at one of the Big Four (KPMG, Deloitte, EY or PwC), or Mazars, or another equally prestigious firm? If so, start sending out your CVs and cover letters now, because the recruitment process for next year's new staff and interns is underway.
Apply a year in advance for an audit internship
"Students looking for an internship next year need to apply now, that's how the process works at the Big Four firms in France," says programme director Kirsty Paoli. She continues, "The audit sector is buoyant at the moment, and the market is showing no signs of slowing down. Students interested in roles starting in September should apply now." For consulting internships, "interns are recruited on an ongoing basis.
Excellent prospects
The prospects for students to obtain an internship at a Big Four firm are very good. "An internship or a permanent role with one of these firms is an excellent springboard. They offer opportunities for networking, training, rapid career development and international mobility.
A spell with a Big Four firm, in audit in particular, is an excellent learning experience for students and makes a great start to a career in finance, either in the finance department of a company or in transaction services.
Partnerships between Big Four firms and SKEMA Talent & Careers
SKEMA has an ongoing partnership with KPMG and has recently entered into an equivalent arrangement with Deloitte. Talent & Careers are also in discussions with Mazars and EY.
