Brazil campus: Global BBA students explore the campus
The new Global BBA class at the Belo Horizonte campus was invited by the campus director Geneviève Poulingue and Global BBA director Yan Grasselli for some friendly discussions and a keynote address by business consultant Marcelo Amaral.
As part of a special induction week, Global BBA students got the opportunity to find out how the campus works and ask questions related to their programme to Karen Haas Dornas, Undergraduate programmes coordinator at the Belo Horizonte campus. The students learnt about the international mobility options within their course.
A keynote talk by Marcelo Amaral
Marcelo Amaral, consultant and professor of strategy, spoke about Aaron Ross's book "Predictable Revenue: the outbound sales revolution" on the relationship between entrepreneurs and company presidents with their future clients. In his talk, the professor detailed the theories put forward in the book, with concrete examples. Afterwards, the students asked him various questions.
A presentation of the student clubs and societies
During the rest of the week, the new students learnt about the student clubs and societies present on the Belo Horizonte campus and chatted with the members of the SKEMA Ventures Club: the newest one at the campus. The induction week ended with the Global Business Seminar: a worldwide event bringing together several speakers in the fields of management, innovation, and international business.
