SKEMA invited to the Global Human Resources Ceremony
SKEMA was invited to attend the Global Human Resources Ceremony and the China HR Industry Awards Ceremony on 13 January this year in Shanghai. The two events were organised by GHRlib, a popular Chinese association of HR professionals.
The school's participation in these two major events of the Chinese HR industry signifies its strong presence in the management training arena. Several prominent companies, such as the international firm Korn Ferry, FSG, Kenexa (IBM) and CDP attended the ceremony, along with a large audience of HR managers and researchers.
Introductory speech by Matthieu Dumont
Suzhou campus director Matthieu Dumont, accompanied by Jason Zhu, who manages SKEMA's Executive Education programmes in China, gave an introductory speech in which he reiterated SKEMA's core mission. "Our goal is to train talented individuals for the business world, who draw their strength from knowledge," he said. "We take pleasure in collaborating with numerous HR industry managers. In ten years, SKEMA's Executive Education programmes have undergone intensive development," he added.
Strategic projects in the pipeline
In his speech, the Suzhou campus director emphasised that SKEMA was working on some new strategic projects in conjunction with its partners in China, while continuing to broaden its vision of the industry and ensuring excellence in its pool of academic resources with the goal of "cultivating talented individuals who will change the world."
