TechForFuture: Mathieu Merian contends for France's best startup competition
Mathieu Merian, a student in the Global BBA programme at SKEMA Business School and founder of the startup Somanity, is participating in the major European startup competition "TechForFuture" in the Smart Tech category. Organised by the media outlet La Tribune for 12 years, the competition invites internet users to vote on the contest website for the best French startup.
TechForFuture is THE major event for French Tech. Internet users have until 8 March to vote for Mathieu Merian, the SKEMA student-entrepreneur behind Somanity, a startup working on the development of medical exoskeletons. "Our exoskeletons are not just devices; they are the future of rehabilitation and autonomy for people with motor disabilities. Through the combination of 3D printing and artificial intelligence, we offer more than mobility assistance, we provide a new lease on life for people," explains Mathieu Merian.
A distinguished young entrepreneur
Somanity has already gained recognition through several awards: Startup of the Year by the Nice Matin newspaper and by Université Côte d'Azur, in the "Artificial Intelligence for Humanity" category.
