SKEMA Grand Paris campus: new student residence completed

The second phase of SKEMA Business School's Grand Paris campus project, consisting of the completion of an innovative student residence with over 270 rooms, is now complete. The building, adjacent to the Grand Paris campus and stretching over 15,000 square meters, was inaugurated in the presence of Alice Guilhon, dean and executive president of SKEMA Business School, after eighteen months of construction.

The Grand Paris campus of SKEMA, along with the adjoining student accommodation, constitutes a real estate project of 30,000 square meters. Inaugurated on 30 May, the student residence is the fruit of the collaboration between several partners: Vilogia, Bouygues Building Ile-de-France, Banque des Territoires, the City of Suresnes, and Arpej. This student residence is ready to welcome SKEMA students and promises to offer, from the next academic year, new activities and services. It includes an association premises with a total surface area of 700 square meters and a 300-square meter sports hall.

The student residence marks the completion of a comprehensive project that will serve French and international students. "The Grand Paris campus of SKEMA exemplifies a cutting-edge school. This urban campus offers new types of physical spaces that reduce geographic distances and promote constant connections between individuals through the use of advanced technologies," explained Alice Guilhon, dean and executive president of SKEMA Business School.

A residence integrated into the academic ecosystem

Designed to foster interactions between individuals, this new facility is a co-living space within which students will continue to learn, co-construct, and commit to society, while enjoying a bustling campus life, facilitated by the proximity to their school. "This campus is a new concept of learning, a connector of talents, communities, cultures, innovations, bearing strong values and a message of commitment to society," said Alice Guilhon, adding, "The completion of this student residence marks a decisive step in the evolution of the school and underscores its commitment to innovative and inclusive education."
