Climate Collage workshop at SKEMA Brazil
During the World Water Day week, students from SKEMA Brazil got the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about the causes and consequences of climate change.
Thinking about the future and preparing new leaders for major challenges also involves thinking about sustainability. With this in mind, SKEMA Business School recently organised The Climate Collage workshop on climate change for undergraduate and Master in Management (PGE) L3 students from all campuses. At this second edition at SKEMA Brazil, students worked on the causes and consequences of climate change, deepening their knowledge on the subject.
"A great opportunity to share"
To go beyond scientific study, the workshop included a brainstorming session to find out possible solutions to this urgent issue. As concrete action is required, the students thought of practical and simple alternatives to be adapted in everyday life, in order to contribute to solving the problems caused by climate change.
Aélia Gennequin, a PGE L3 student, reinforced how the integration of different cultures was enriching in this process: "I think it was interesting because we had two different perspectives: the Brazilian and the French. We looked at two different points of view and proposals for measures, because they had suggestions I had not thought of and vice versa. It was a great opportunity to share."
