Class of 2019-20 "This MSc has moulded me into a data professional who can understand data, create dashboards and build machine-learning models. The business side of the programme helped me understand how data can be used strategically to improve a business. Our studies covered theoretical concepts in statistics, probability and economics. While the practical aspects of this course provided us with a wide variety of skills including digital marketing, data visualisation, formulating business strategies and building machine-learning models conceived of by experts from IBM, PWC, Deloitte etc. We also implemented theory in the form of projects and contests. Working with companies helped me acquire an industry-level analytical mindset. I enjoyed the entrepreneurship contest and the real-world travel data project with Amadeus.I was able to secure an internship offer in Amadeus as a data analyst before the end of my first semester.
