Hangzhou All Blossom Conference: SKEMA China champions women leadership and ESG
On 25 April, Matthieu Dumont, director of SKEMA China, was invited to deliver a speech at a conference dedicated to the impact of women leadership, and the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sector. The conference was organised by the Hangzhou municipal government.
From 24 to 25 April, the '8th All Blossom Conference' was held at Hangzhou International Expo Center, China. SKEMA Business School was invited to the session "HER Power and ESG", which focused on sustainable development and women leadership.
The HER Power and ESG session aimed to strengthen the communication and cooperation among female leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, experts, and activists in the field of ESG, to promote social progress and environmental sustainability, and to build a fairer, greener, and more inclusive future.
Matthieu Dumont was invited to give a speech on "Empower Future - SKEMA's Role in Women Leadership and ESG Practices", which was interpreted by Zhu Tianlin, head of Executive Education, SKEMA China.
In his speech, Matthieu shared how SKEMA Business School integrates the advanced concepts of sustainable development and women leadership into all aspects of the school's management and teaching, and its students' lives. SKEMA has been diving deep into the Chinese market. Leveraging the advantages of globalisation, the school has established in-depth cooperation with different enterprises and participated in projects focusing on women leadership. SKEMA is committed to educating and cultivating the next generation of women leaders and creating a better future for young women.
New partnership
During the session, SKEMA Business School and the China Association for Promotion of Investment (CAPI) signed a cooperation training agreement. The two institutions will soon carry out a series of collaborative activities in brand promotion, cooperative projects, executive programmes, etc. Together, they will promote the cultivation of talents with an international perspective and help the cultural and educational exchanges between China and France.
The 8th All Blossom Conference combined conference forums, innovation showcases, and interactive activities, gathering top industry leaders, experts, entrepreneurs, and investors to share their insightful and innovative thinking.
