Environment Week: students organise conference on sustainable finance

SKEMA Business School students are organising a conference on sustainable finance at the Sophia Antipolis, Lille and Grand Paris campus as part of Environment Week.

​The SKEMA Finance and SKEMA HOPE Sophia Antipolis societies are joining forces to organise the conference, which will be open to students from all programmes.

"Two speakers from Natixis Investments Managers and DNCA Finance, a company specialising in financial asset management, will discuss topics such as impact investment and sustainable finance," explains Mattéo Rossetti, a third-year Global BBA student and president of SKEMA Finance in Sophia Antipolis.

The conference will be held in a hybrid format (on campus + online).

Events on the Grand Paris campus


On the Grand Paris campus, the students of the HOPE association have planned several activities in connection with Environment Week: 
  • Monday, 13 February: 11:30 am - 2:30 pm: Honey sale and HOYAT stand at the entrance hall,
    6:15 pm - 8 pm: screening of the film "The Day After Tomorrow" in Agora. 
  • Tuesday, 14 February: 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm: Clean-up Day & Afterwork at Canal St Martin.  
  • Wednesday, 15 February: 11 am - 12 pm: DIY workshop in Agora
    2:30 pm - 5 pm: Cake sale at the entrance hall.
  • Friday, 16 February: 9:30 am - 1 pm: Thrift shop with Belle Rive Paris in Agora.

Lille: A conference on the challenges of hydrogen in mobility


A conference on the stakes of hydrogen in mobility will be organised by the SKEMA Motor Club, Enactus, and HOPE associations. The students will welcome Laure-Aline Baheux, management consultant at Wavestone, manager of the hydrogen offer at GTR Gaz and Engie, and head of Women in Hydrogen France, on 15 February, from 2 pm to 3 pm, Amphitheatre B, Lille campus.
