Orientation Day took place at the Feluma theatre and around 300 students attended.
January 16, SKEMA Brazil welcomed around 300 international students for a new semester on campus.
From a diverse range of countries, students arrived to experience all the development opportunities that international mobility has to offer. An experience that is only possible due to the multicampus format of the institution, offering students the possibility of a multicultural education.
To welcome them, SKEMA Brazil held Orientation Day: an excellent opportunity for students to get to know each other and get academic information, as well as tips about Belo Horizonte and Brazil. They discovered student clubs, with all the possibilities of social activities they offer, and listened to Lieutenant Heringer talk about security in the city..
In addition to all that, they ended the morning with a presentation by Grupo Abadá de Capoeira. They learned how to samba during the event and for the rest of the week they had opportunities, with a series of workshops, to delve deeper into this Brazilian cultural manifestation.
The event was held at the Feluma theatre, special assignment by SKEMA's partner, Faculdade Ciências Médicas de Minas Gerais and Fundação Educacional Lucas Machado.
