Lille campus students donate blood
As the end-of-year celebrations approach, with blood product stocks at their lowest, members of the Student Union of SKEMA's Lille campus rallied their fellow students to donate blood – with splendid results.
On Wednesday 30 November, students from the Lille campus encouraged their fellow students from all programmes (Master in Management (PGE), ESDHEM, Global BBA) to donate blood to the Etablissement Français du Sang in Lille. All in all, 89 SKEMA students responded. "This represents 267 lives potentially saved," say the student organisers. With this final action, the Student Office team are now handing over to the incoming group of students from the PGE and Global BBA programmes.
"This initiative is a direct continuation of actions carried out by SKEMA student associations like HOPE, which regularly organises events designed to raise students' awareness of blood donation and lack of job security, through campaigns in the city. SKEMA students' mobilisation for charitable purposes has always been a key factor in Skema student life, and looks set to stay that way," say the students.
