Academic workshops planned at Suzhou campus
Following several workshops organised last semester, SKEMA’s Pedagogical Innovation department is collaborating again with our Suzhou campus student office. Together, they plan to host academic workshops to develop Chinese students’ skills and provide them with essential insights.
This semester, the workshops will be related to:
- References and citations
- Peers evaluation
Two other workshops will be co-organised by SKEMA China and International Joint Audit Institute (SKEMA-Nanjing Audit University) on the following themes:
- Academic reading
- Multiculture
The workshops are expected to help Chinese students adapt to an English-speaking learning environment and enable them to develop research abilities, academic writing skills, and teamwork spirit.
This semester, Irina Otmanine, the instructional designer of SKEMA's Pedagogical Innovation department, will conduct all the workshop sessions to deliver more practical skills and maximise the results.
"Apart from the workshops, constant support will be provided to students on the Suzhou campus and International Joint Audit Institute, thus enriching their learning experience," said Bo Deng, operations manager at the Suzhou campus.
