AACSB highlights the SKEMA Hackathon in its "2022 Innovations That Inspire" programme
AACSB*, a global nonprofit association that accredits business schools across the world, has highlighted the SKEMA Hackathon in its "2022 Innovations That Inspire" programme. One of the key features of this hackathon on the theme "Inclusive Organisation" was the use of the Bluenove platform by first-year students in the Master in Management (PGE) programme.
For this year's SKEMA Hackathon, professors Marine Hadengue and Diego Zunino used the Bluenove collective intelligence platform for three separate modules. The first one, called "consultation", enabled students to explore a subject beforehand, via a detailed questionnaire. The second module, "Bright Mirror - Design Fiction", invited the students to write, in groups, a fictional story related to the theme of the hackathon. "Co-construction", the third module, gave the groups the opportunity to engage in discussions and produce collective solutions to the central problem.
A more dynamic experience for students
All the suggestions presented by the students during the hackathon were analysed in detail by the tool's algorithm and by Bluenove's analysts, which enabled the students' perception of the subject to be refined to the maximum.
In the end, the feedback was sifted through, which generated an original synthesis. "This tool makes the experience more dynamic for the students and enables us, the teachers, to obtain real feedback on the opinion of young people and the evolution of this opinion during the exercise," explained Marine Hadengue.
Around 12,000 messages were posted by the students during the Hackathon, a testament to the motivation and commitment of the 750 L3 students involved in this exercise to explore inclusion.
