Students to discuss EU presidency with former MEP Jean-Marie Cavada
Former MEP Jean-Marie Cavada, president of the IDFRights Institute, will be answering the questions of SKEMA's Management and Business Law double-degree students on Tuesday, 15 February, about the French presidency of the EU.
Students in the Bachelor 3, Master 1 and Master 2 programmes of the Management and Business Law double degree will be talking with the former MEP, Jean-Marie Cavada, as part of the European Day organised each year by Isabelle Bufflier, the head of the master's programme.
During this online event, students will discuss with Mr Cavada the challenges of the French presidency of the European Union and European digital sovereignty. The exchanges will be led by two SKEMA student associations: Pourparlers and Business & Law. "I suggested Mr Cavada to speak on these subjects as the institute is a partner of the school and of the Consilience group, lead by Frédéric Munier, for the publication of a weekly press review by our students on the institute's website," explains Isabelle Bufflier.
Cédric Grolleau, a lawyer and EU/Brussels lobbying specialist, Frédéric Munier, professor of geopolitics at SKEMA, and Colette Bouckaert, secretary general of the IDFRights Institute, will also be present.
A partnership between SKEMA and the IDFRights Institute
Last October, SKEMA Business School and IDFRights signed a partnership for the publication of student contributions on the institute's website. Within this framework, M1 Business Law students integrated into the "Consilience" track, piloted by SKEMA professors Frédéric Munier and Rodolphe Desbordes, participate in the weekly writing of a press review on digital themes.
