Here is a quick view of what you can expect as a new International Student joining SKEMA Business School in France:
Before departure
Even before your arrival in France, the SKEMA International Office will be in contact with you to help prepare your arrival to France. This support system includes:
- SKEMA Compass Modules: detailed pre-orientation modules where you will find everything you need to know about SKEMA Business School: student services, campus life, city life, and extensive pre-arrival information such as visa, housing, insurance, banking,
- SKEMA Compass Webinar Series: connect with the International Office team as well as current students virtually to go over key topics such as visa, housing, health insurance, banking, transportation, student life & associations, and so much more!
- Orientation Groups: be assigned to a SKEMA Buddy who will be there to help provide useful tips and answer your questions regarding practical life at SKEMA and in France.
Upon arrival
- International Student Orientation Day: a dedicated pre-orientation day for our newly enrolled international students. A fun and interactive day on campus! Meet your Orientation Leaders and Groups, take part in interesting workshops on topics such as Intercultural Differences and Introduction to French. Have a campus tour and lunch with your new classmates!
- Orientation Day: whether you are a degree-seeking student or exchange student at SKEMA, you will have a dedicated academic orientation day with your programme director. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the various SKEMA services and get prepared for the start of courses.
- Induction Day: take part in a team-building activity with fellow international students to learn more about your new campus, town, and a bit of French culture.
