Chinese academic journal features Alice Guilhon

Alice Guilhon, dean & executive president of SKEMA, was recently on the cover of the Chinese academic journal, the Journal of World Education. In the article, Guilhon discusses the school’s innovations with regards artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and international education.

The Journal of World Education is a reputable journal, supervised by the Chinese Ministry of Education and published by its office Education Management Information Center (EMIC). Its second issue of 2022, where the dean was featured, drew attention to SKEMA.

In the interview conducted by Qi Li, a senior staff member of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges and official of the Department of Education of Chinese Embassy in France, Alice highlighted the school’s innovative, impactful, and glocal identity.

Global and local

As a glocal institution, SKEMA has vowed to develop a local presence across the world. In China, the school works with Chinese academic institutions such as Xi’an Jiaotong University and Nanjing Audit University.

“I believe that partnership is the best way to create an open and inclusive social environment in the field of education. SKEMA hopes to cooperate with its partners in China and other countries to develop more programmes and seek further development,” says Alice in the interview.

It was not the first time that Alice Guilhon had been featured on the cover of a Chinese publication. She was also present in the Guangming Studying Abroad in 2020, a well- known magazine specialising in international education.
