From classroom to marketplace: SKEMA's entrepreneurs shine at Viva Technology 2024

A key event for entrepreneurship in France, Viva Technology 2024 opened its doors, attracting several thousand participants. Among the crowds were many entrepreneurs from the SKEMA Business School community, including the multi-award-winning entrepreneur Mathieu Merian, the founder of Somanity and a student entrepreneur.

About 900 free invitations were distributed to SKEMA students, student associations (such as the SKEMA Ventures Club, specialising in entrepreneurship), alumni, and entrepreneurs from the school, who attended the event. Some startups by our students and alumni had been invited by other organisations. For instance, the startup SWOOP Energy, which designs generators from end-of-life electric car batteries, had been invited by Métropole Européenne de Lille, and Mathieu Merian by Région Sud.
