Hackathon: 750 PGE students work on higher education in transition

The first-year students of the Master in Management (Grande Ecole) programme are engaged in a challenge this week on a topical theme: "Higher Education in transition". Like last year, the results of their work will be compiled by Bluenove's collective intelligence tool, Assembl.

Each year, the Hackathon enables first-year students of the Grande Ecole programme to work on a topical theme on the Sophia Antipolis, Lille and Grand Paris campuses.

For this edition, the students are focusing on the transformation of societies caused by environmental, economic and social issues. Their objective will be to conceptualise, at their level, new models of higher education for a more sustainable society. Professors Diego Zunino and Marine Hadengue, who are in charge of the Hackathon, will coordinate the students' work.

Tools at the students' disposal

To achieve their objectives, the students will use various tools and supports and will be able to take advantage of Bluenove's collective intelligence platform, "Assembl", on which they will be able to interact throughout the week and which will ultimately encourage their creative process.

Like last year, the Hackathon is divided into several modules: consultation, design fiction, co-construction and prioritisation. During the week, the students will also be able to count on the coaching teams to guide them through the experience and facilitate the emergence of innovative solutions.

Selection of the finalist teams

At the end of the week, finalist teams and then a winning team will be designated by specific tools set up by Bluenove for SKEMA, along with the deliberations of a grand jury.
