Le Parisien Etudiant's post-prep business schools 2023 ranking: SKEMA again in the Top 5

Le Parisien Etudiant has published the 2023 edition of its annual ranking of post-prep business schools. For the third year running, SKEMA's Master in Management (Grande Ecole programme) has been ranked 5th among 21 French schools.

In the thematic rankings, SKEMA is ranked No. 1 for the percentage of students who go abroad and No. 2 for the number of business creators among its graduates over the last three years.

The school received 5 points (the maximum) on major criteria: power, attractiveness among students, infrastructure, research, faculty, digital policy and educational innovation, among others.

In an article on the feminisation of the governance of business schools, the journal has quoted Alice Guilhon, dean & executive president of SKEMA and president of the CDEFM, in which she welcomes the place of women at the head of management schools: "I think that in higher education, as elsewhere, the glass ceiling exists and few women think they can reach the top management. There are many women professors, but few have been appointed and are prepared to take on management positions. In 2007, I was one of the few female deans. Since then, almost a dozen women have been appointed to head management schools."

In a dedicated interview, Grégoire Ambroselli, creator of Choco and a double graduate of SKEMA's Master in Management programme and the , has explained how the school enabled him to propel his project. His idea became a unicorn, which is today valued at about 1.2 billion euros. "The school (helps you) to structure your ideas, provides you with a framework and an initial network, which is precious. Above all, it puts you in a state of mind by surrounding you with people who are in the same entrepreneurial mindset as you," he explained in the Le Parisien interview.
