M&A Contest : quand des étudiants s’essaient à la fusion-acquisition en mode grandeur nature
On 20 November, SKEMA Finance, the student finance association, will host an M&A Contest at the Grand Paris campus. This prestigious competition brings together students from leading business schools to engage in a high-stakes mergers and acquisitions challenge, with each team simulating the role of financial advisors to execute complex transactions under the scrutiny of industry experts.
The goal of this M&A contest is for finance students to deliver the best merger and acquisition strategies based on detailed analysis, all in front of seasoned professionals. “We have the privilege of welcoming prominent investment bankers, including representatives from Lazard, Crédit Agricole Corporate Investment Bank, and Largillière Finance, as well as SKEMA alumni such as Raphaël Roch Chardet (SKEMA 2006), Lazard, and Hasnaa Sader (SKEMA 2019), Crédit Agricole CIB. Their presence offers participants invaluable professional feedback,” says Hamza Belkouch, president of SKEMA Finance. This event, a highlight for finance students, is a chance to stand out before influential industry figures. “This visibility is a real asset for our community and for the recognition of our school among partner institutions and the network of top business schools,” concludes Hamza Belkouch.
