Matthieu Dumont meets French President Emmanuel Macron in Beijing

On 5 April, French President Emmanuel Macron met with the French community in China at the French Embassy during his official state visit to Beijing. Matthieu Dumont, director of SKEMA Business School’s Suzhou campus, was invited to the meeting as a representative of French higher education in China.

​During his state visit to China, Emmanuel Macron congratulated the leadership and professors of French schools in China. During his speech to the President of the Republic and a group of official representatives, Suzhou campus director Matthieu Dumont presented the SKEMA institution as a whole. In his response, the President recognised SKEMA's achievements in promoting higher education collaborations between France and China, and in training international talent.


Suzhou: SKEMA's first international ​​campus


SKEMA Business School's first international campus was the Suzhou campus, which was opened in 2009. In line with its strategic SKY25 plan​, SKEMA, a glocal institution recognised in China, has been training managers for over a decade in cooperation with the Chinese and international economic fabric, while drawing on top-level academic partnerships with major Chinese universities (Nanjing, Xian' Jiaotong).
