Yizhen Li, a Chinese student enrolled in the Global BBA programme at our NAU X SKEMA Joint Institute on the Nanjing campus, gave us her views on the experience she had as an exchnage student on the BBA in Sophia Antipolis.

Yizhen Li, is a BBA student (2020) in Information Management and Information Systems.

Here's what Yizhen think about her time on the programme in France:

“As an international student, I have had the opportunity to study abroad in France and attend SKEMA Business School. My exchange experience was truly life-changing, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing programme. At SKEMA, I was able to immerse myself in a diverse and dynamic student body, learn from renowned faculty members, and challenge myself academically.

Apply knowledge to real-world situations

The curriculum was challenging, but it was also incredibly rewarding. I was able to apply the knowledge and skills I acquired in the classroom to real-world situations, which helped me to better understand the business world. Moreover, the professors at SKEMA were always available and supportive, which made me feel comfortable and confident in my abilities.

Community and support

What really stood out to me about SKEMA was the sense of community and support I felt from my classmates and professors. This was especially evident during group projects, where we worked together to tackle complex problems and come up with creative solutions.

Overall, my exchange experience at SKEMA was truly exceptional. The combination of challenging coursework and a supportive community has given me the skills and confidence I need to succeed in the global marketplace.”
