Isabela Nacur and Rafaela Madsen, two Global BBA students, have announced the creation of Ateliê, a new student association dedicated to fashion, on the Belo Horizonte campus.

Ateliê is the seventh student association at the Belo Horizonte campus! The two founders, inspired by Avenue Montaigne (Sophia Antipolis), Belle Rive (Grand Paris campus) and Metamorphose (Lille), are keen to develop students' sense of luxury and creativity through projects and experiences with professionals from the Brazilian sector, just like their French counterparts. "We hope that Ateliê will have a positive influence on students' knowledge and their ability to create in the field of fashion. We also want to promote and make known Brazilian designers and entrepreneurs through the SKEMA community," explain Isabela and Rafaela.

Workshops throughout the year

Ateliê plans to organise studies around entrepreneurship in the fashion industry, promote fashion events, hold workshops (for example, sewing and drawing) and offer fashion advice. "The creation of Ateliê is a natural thing for me. My father was a textile business leader and Rafaela's mother was a co-owner of a fashion company," says Isabela Nacur.
