New semester begins at the Suzhou campus in China

SKEMA’s Suzhou campus in China kicked off the spring semester of 2022 with some useful online orientation sessions. On 16 February, the students received a warm welcome from the campus team and learned about the facilities and services available to them.

After the staff wished the students a happy Chinese New Year, Wenyu Dou, academic dean of SKEMA China, Matthieu Dumont, director of SKEMA China, Bo Deng, senior operations manager of SKEMA China, April Yang, career advisor from the Talent & Careers department, and Chali Zhou, manager of SKEMA Ventures, China, advised students on how they can best utilize their time in the country.

As the first activity of the orientation week, this session helps the students to get familiar with the business ecosystem in China, the faculty of the Suzhou campus, students' career services and the entrepreneurship incubator-accelerator SKEMA Ventures. Other orientation activities are also organised for students, such as an academic presentation, a session on discovering the cultural heritage of Suzhou, and a Surprise of the Day event.

China has the second largest economy in the world and provides endless opportunities; students who would like to build their careers in the country can enjoy exceptional advantages here. SKEMA Business School is dedicated to offering guidance and support to all the students.
