Research Centre on AI for Sustainable Value: new series of events
This new academic year is also synonymous with a new programme of events for the Research Centre on AI for Sustainable Value, led by Margherita Pagani, professor of digital and artificial intelligence in marketing. Seminars, masterclasses and readings will soon be offered to teacher-researchers, professors, doctoral students, and more generally, to all students closely interested in the link between business and artificial intelligence.
Launched in March 2022, SKEMA Business School's AI School for Business is made up of a dynamic research centre, which regularly offers events related to the artificial intelligence ecosystem. These events thus involve researchers and pundits from the AI sector and world's top universities, thus contributing to SKEMA's reputation as a high-level research institution.
In the typology of the events offered, the Research Centre on AI for Sustainable Value notably organises "Seminar series on AI for Sustainable value" around major issues, which intertwine the themes of business, digital, and of course, artificial intelligence. The AI School for Business' research centre also organises masterclasses. The next one is taking place on 20 October with Leopoldo Bertossi, professor at SKEMA Business School, in SKEMA's AI Research and Resources Centre in Montreal, on the theme "Explainable AI and Classification and Decision Systems".
"During these masterclasses, we address a subject at the heart of AI news and popularise it. These events are open to SKEMA professors and students," explains Margherita Pagani, associate dean of AI School for Business.
Readings: events to facilitate interaction
Readings are the latest category of events organised by the research centre. Designed to facilitate interactions, these events are intended to boost discussions between researchers and enable interactions between professors and doctoral students.
