SKEMA Brazil BBA students present Sales Challenge for Serenata

Developed by students from BBA years 3 and 4, this project where students applied their knowledge to a real scenario was presented to the company's managers.

Some higher education institutions still maintain a large gap between knowledge and practice, so many students find it difficult to join the actual job market. At SKEMA Brazil, both knowledge and practice aspects are worked on in an integrated manner so students are ready to hit the ground running when they start their careers.

Network

To this end, students have the opportunity to develop projects for real companies regarding challenges and cases brought by the company in question. Once completed, they present the project to the professionals involved and receive feedback, in addition to expanding their network.

This is the case of BBA years 3 and 4 students at SKEMA Brazil. Guided by Professor Igor Dias and Professor Paulo de Castro, they solved a sales challenge proposed by Serenata, one of the biggest musical instrument companies in Brazil, and pitched the final project to the company manager.

Develop work for real companies

“Since I joined SKEMA, one of the things that interested me the most was being able to develop work for real companies. And Serenata is a company I've been in contact with since I was little, so being able to do a sales challenge for them was very gratifying. And I think that the feedback, mainly from people who are already in the job market, from executives, is always very good for improving”, comments Rafael Lage de Oliveira, one of the BBA students involved in the project.
