SKEMA has signed a partnership with Florida International University (FIU), a public university in the State of Florida, USA. From January, 15 students from SKEMA’s Belo Horizonte campus will join this university, which is ranked among the top 50 in the United States.

In 2022, SKEMA is pursuing its ambition of developing academic partnerships across the Atlantic. After several agreements signed with American academic institutions in the recent months (New York University SPS, UC Berkeley Global, UCLA and Loyola University), the school has signed a partnership with Florida International University. For SKEMA students, the benefit is twofold: on the one hand, the option of combining a high-level academic curriculum, and on the other hand, the opportunity to obtain a unique experience in a 100% international context.

Miami: a city at the crossroads of innovation

Nestled in an urban area of more than 5.5 million people, Miami is a stronghold of American innovation. With 58,000 students of more than 140 nationalities, Florida International University has outstanding facilities that give pride of place to sports and culture. In addition to these assets, the university has a very dense network of student associations, comprising 300 clubs.

Cohort of 30 students

This January, the first class of 15 MSc International Business students from our Belo Horizonte campus in Brazil will start at the University of Florida. Eventually, 30 students will be able to benefit from this exchange agreement: ten students from the Grande Ecole programme and 20 Brazilian students, who will spend a semester studying at the University of Florida. The students will receive a certificate from Florida International University besides the MSc International Business diploma and the Grande Ecole programme diploma from SKEMA, provided, of course, that they complete all the academic requirements.
