SKEMA student raises 200,000 euros for his energy-efficient renovation startup Maestro

Maxence Padua, a student in SKEMA's Master in Management (PGE) programme, has just raised 200,000 euros for his startup, "Maestro". With this, he joins the ranks of SKEMA students and alumni who have made a mark in field of entrepreneurship and innovation!

With a strong academic background in the United States, Maxence Padua developed "Maestro" in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Berkeley, California. It was here that he completed his Academic Diploma in Entrepreneurship, Technology, and Start-up Management in 2023, co-delivered by Berkeley Global, Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (SCIT), and SKEMA.

A few weeks ago, Maxence completed a fundraising round of 200,000 euros, marking a significant milestone in the development of his company. With "Maestro", his start-up based near Royan, France, the young entrepreneur has decided to specialise in the energy-efficient renovation of buildings, offering a complete service that includes site supervision, energy audits, and the preparation of funding applications for individuals. It's an ideal system for a sector that is rife with scams! "This fundraising marks a crucial milestone in Maestro's journey. It will enable us to establish our position in the energy renovation market, innovate further to successfully carry out our mission as an impact company, and also surround ourselves internally with construction and energy experts to actively contribute to the energy transition. Our passionate team is more determined than ever to realise our vision," explains Maxence Padua.

Paul-Arno Garrido (SKEMA 2022)

Paul-Arno Garrido founded Nuvocare in March 2023, an app offered to doctors and healthcare facilities, aimed at digitising exchanges between the patient and the surgeon before an operation.
