A passionate and talented volleyball player who has played for over ten years, Diane Ewane joined the volleyball team of NC State University for all the three semesters she has lived in Raleigh.
Originally from Paris, she first attended SKEMA US in the fall of 2019, and then came back for the 2021-2022 academic year to complete her MSc in Financial Markets and Investments.
Being part of the volleyball team gave her the opportunity to not only feel involved with the NC State community, meet new friends and form long-lasting friendships, but also to travel across the United States for competitions. She participated in a large amount of tournaments in universities on the east coast, including the University of South Carolina, University of North Carolina – Charlotte, Virginia Tech, and more. In April 2022, her team qualified for the National Collegiate Volleyball Championship in Phoenix, Arizona, and won third place.
Made the most of her experience
Beyond volleyball, Diane also made the most of her experience in Raleigh, both at SKEMA and NC State. She was a dedicated delegate for the MSc in Financial Markets and Investments, and took part in various workshops offered at NC State on topics such as leadership and cultural competences.
Career-wise, she has accepted a position as a treasury intern in New York City and will be moving there in June.
Sincere congratulations and best of luck, Diane!
