SKEMA USA hosts annual International Festival

This fall semester, students from over 25 countries around the world have joined the Raleigh campus. To celebrate the diversity and multiculturalism of their student community, SKEMA USA hosted its second annual International Festival in mid-September
The participating students had the opportunity to create and decorate their own booth to represent their country of origin. Using lots of photos, historical facts, maps, flags, music, food, games and more, they created a beautiful, immersive cultural experience in the courtyard of the Raleigh campus. Through this cheerful and colorful event, they shared about their cultures and customs, answered questions, organized fun activities, offered homemade traditional treats, learned about each other – and felt connected as one large global community.
Many students joined in this multicultural celebration, along with faculty, staff, and the mascot, Leon the SKAMELEON.
The various countries represented included Brazil, Denmark, El Salvador, France, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Portugal and Tunisia. Following the event, students and faculty voted for the best booth through a survey – the Ivorian team won, for the second year in a row!
